Meet Dr. Zakhary
Dr. Atef S. Zakhary provides comprehensive women’s health care, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, high-risk pregnancies, and advanced gynecologic procedures. The clinic is equipped with modern technology and follows evidence-based medical practices to ensure safe and effective treatment for every patient.
Dr. Zakhary completed his medical training at Cairo University and advanced residency in New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board-certified in obstetrics & gynecology and internal medicine, bringing extensive clinical expertise and compassionate patient-centric care.

Atef S. Zakhary, M.D.
Dr. Atef S. Zakhary is a well-respected women’s health care expert in the Tampa Bay area. He specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with special interest in high-risk pregnancies and robot-assisted gynecologic surgeries He demonstrates the knowledge, clinical ability and demeanor critical to high quality patient care.
Jonathan Nutter, M.D.
Dr. Nutter is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He graduated Suma Cum Laude from Berry College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Psychology.
Melinda Adams, CNM
Melinda Adams, CNM began her journey as a nurse in 2007 when she graduated from the University of Tampa with her bachelors degree in nursing. She landed her dream job as a labor and delivery nurse at TGH where she called home for 12 years.
Edmund F. Funai, M.D.
Dr. Funai is a cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and was awarded an academic scholarship to New York Medical College. He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and Fellowship in Maternal–Fetal Medicine at NYU School of Medicine.
E Patrick Bonilla, M.D.
Dr. Bonilla began his career in healthcare serving as a Radiology Technologist for over 10 years. His desire to play a more influential role in medicine motivated him to earn a Bachelor’s degree as well as a Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Serra Saad, DO
Dr. Serra Saad specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive care for women at every stage of life. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Pensacola, Florida.
Jane Mbeng Ako, MD
Dr. Jane Mbeng Ako, MD began her career in healthcare serving as a Radiology Technologist for over 10 years. Her desire to play a more influential role in medicine motivated her to earn a Bachelor’s degree as well as a Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
